This opening reception will feature a DJ who will set the mood for the evening with live music, creating the perfect atmosphere for enjoying art.

Tabea has been making music and writing her own songs since her school days.
An avid LARPer, she has spent the last few years traveling between camps as her bard character, Jayden of the Blackwater.
She explores the theme of identity both through role-playing in her spare time and in her music, performing original folk songs in German and English.

Betül Aydin

Betül Aydin is a visual artist and artistic researcher born in Turkey and based in Germany. She holds a PhD in Media Informatics and Visual Computing from Université Grenoble Alpes, France. Working across photography, film, and text, her practice explores family, care, and belonging through personal narratives, domestic spaces, archives, and material traces. Her work reflects on how identity is shaped across generations and through experiences of displacement.

These songs are from the point of view of a queer immigrant, who grew up in a religion-centered, small town community. 'OPEN YOUR MIND' tells the story of self realization and acceptance. It walks you through the journey of unlearning years of indoctrination and finding community in a different country.

As the main host, Na’Eve curates and guides the evening, joining Envy Larue to discuss identity, belonging, visibility, and the contradictions within queer communities in an open, humorous, and direct manner. With personal stories, surprising questions, and audience participation, the evening entertains, challenges, and invites reflection.
