Las Adelitas is a talented Mexican folk dance troupe whose performances celebrate Mexican history and culture in the Munich scene in a colorful and lively way.

Raised between two “Funky Towns” — Munich and Istanbul — DJ Süperfly explores the deepest realms of Norientalism, constantly crossing the boundaries of cultural, ethnic, geographical, chronological, and fictional regions, as well as musical genres. His aim is to deconstruct the omnipresent dominance of identity concepts in dance music, making room for uninhibited transcultural ecstasy.
His exquisite vinyl collection is complemented by digital discoveries spanning a wide range of genres: Kurdish Halay, Gazino music, Arabesk, Anatolian and Arabian psychedelia, electro and hip-hop mashups, edits and remixes of Mediterranean and Eurasian psychedelic classics, as well as popular music from Turkey, Greece, the Levant, Egypt, the Maghreb, North Africa, the Balkans, and even Memphis, Tennessee. Blended with a touch of Latin Boogaloo, these sounds amalgamate into a simmering brew of passion and the heat of the Southeast.
Aufgewachsen in zwei „Funky Towns“ – München und Istanbul – erforscht er als Dj Süperfly die tiefsten Tiefen des Norientalismus, indem er permanent die Grenzen von kulturellen, ethnischen, geographischen, chronologischen und fiktiven Regionen und musikalischen Genres überschreitet. Das Ziel ist es, die omnipräsente Dominanz von Identitätskonzepten in der Tanzmusik zu dekonstruieren, um Platz zu schaffen für die unbefangene transkulturelle Ekstase. Tabea has been making music and writing her own songs since her school days. An avid LARPer, she has spent the last few years traveling between camps as her bard character, Jayden of the Blackwater. She explores the theme of identity both through role-playing in her spare time and in her music, performing original folk songs in German and English.
Tabea macht seit ihrer Schulzeit Musik und schreibt ihre eigenen Songs. Sie ist begeisterte LARPerin und zieht in diesem Rahmen seit einigen Jahren mit ihrem Bardencharakter Jayden of the Blackwater durch die Lager. Mit dem Thema Identität setzt sie sich sowohl durch das Rollenspiel in ihrer Freizeit als auch in ihren Songs und ihrer Musik auseinander. Sie spielt selbstgeschriebene Folk Songs auf Deutsch und Englisch.

Betül Aydin 17:00
Betül Aydin is a visual artist and artistic researcher born in Turkey and based in Germany. She holds a PhD in Media Informatics and Visual Computing from Université Grenoble Alpes, France. Working across photography, film, and text, her practice explores family, care, and belonging through personal narratives, domestic spaces, archives, and material traces. Her work reflects on how identity is shaped across generations and through experiences of displacement. Since becoming a mother, questions around motherhood and the politics of care have become increasingly present in her practice, particularly the tensions between lived experience and normative ideas of family. Her ongoing artistic research project, Between Homes, began during a Goethe-Institut artist residency in Sofia and developed further through a recent Culture Moves Europe mobility grant, expanding her research into different forms of kinship, care, and belonging.
Between Homes: On Care, Identity and Belonging
Between Homes is an ongoing artistic research project exploring care, identity, family, and belonging. Beginning from my own experience as a migrant mother and artist, I expanded my work through exchanges and interviews with people navigating displacement, non-normative forms of kinship, and different ways of creating home. The title Between Homes refers not only to physical displacement, but also to different ways we experience and negotiate home. "Home" is understood not as something necessarily fixed or safe, but as something shaped by relationships, care and community, as well as by wider social and political conditions. "Between" leaves space for experiences that do not settle neatly within established structures: for moving between places and cultures, creating new homes, belonging in multiple ways, or not feeling fully at home at all.
In this discussion, I will reflect on who performs the often invisible work of sustaining home and family, and question the idea that home and family are naturally stable, private, heterosexual, and nuclear. My interest in motherhood and queer belonging comes from seeing them not as separate questions, but as connected through the same structures. Patriarchal ideas of gender and family have long placed women within reproductive and caring roles, while marginalising identities, relationships, and forms of kinship that do not fit heterosexual and reproductive norms. This raises questions about whose families are recognised, whose care is valued, and who is allowed to belong without having to reshape themselves to fit dominant expectations.
Through Between Homes, I consider identity not as fixed, but as relational, multiple, and continually shaped. I ask what might become possible if, instead of adapting people to existing structures, we begin imagining structures of care and belonging that can accommodate the complexity of people’s lives.

This workshop explores the theme of identity through painting by encouraging participants of all ages to explore one way each person is unique.
Participants will create their own individual iris patterns using paint and a balloon stamping technique. Because every print will be different, the activity will highlight the idea that, just like our fingerprints and eyes, each person has their own unique "stamp".
The painted iris prints can be transformed into expressive eyes using 3d painting techniques. Participants can experiment with colour, shape, shading, light and perspective to bring their eyes to life.
Ages 10 and older or with accompanying adult.

These songs are from the point of view of a queer immigrant, who grew up in a religion-centered, small town community. 'OPEN YOUR MIND' tells the story of self realization and acceptance. It walks you through the journey of unlearning years of indoctrination and finding community in a different country.

As the main host, Na’Eve curates and guides the evening, joining Envy Larue to discuss identity, belonging, visibility, and the contradictions within queer communities in an open, humorous, and direct manner. With personal stories, surprising questions, and audience participation, the evening entertains, challenges, and invites reflection.
Laut, queer, unbequem verbindet Drag-Performances mit einem persönlichen, politischen und unterhaltsamen Live-Podcast. Als Main Host gestaltet und führt Na’Eve durch den Abend und spricht gemeinsam mit Envy Larue offen, humorvoll und direkt über Identität, Zugehörigkeit, Sichtbarkeit und die Widersprüche innerhalb queerer Communities.

Sara Hashmi’s practice explores language, identity, memory, social structures, and lived experience. Working across painting, installation, public art, textiles, performance, and participatory practice, she often begins with familiar materials and everyday situations, transforming them into reflections on vulnerability, belonging, power, and resistance. Her work is particularly interested in the emotional weight of language, the traces carried by materials, and the ways public and private spaces shape individual experience.
Her recent work has also focused on women’s experiences, care, domestic labour, motherhood, resilience, and collective storytelling. Living and working across different cultural contexts has shaped her interest in belonging, displacement, and the tension between tradition and contemporary life. At the centre of Hashmi’s practice is a desire to make visible what is often overlooked and to create space for personal experiences to connect with wider social and collective realities.

und das – ist für mich lyrik.

Elena Calliopa was born in Neuburg an der Donau in 1999. After graduating from high school, she moved to Munich, where she studied Psychology (B.Sc.), School Psychology and English for secondary school teaching, as well as Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy (M.Sc.) at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. During this time, she also spent periods living in London and Granada. She currently lives, works, studies, writes, and breathes in Munich.
Elena has been writing poetry for as long as she can remember and, since 2021, has regularly performed at poetry slams and literary events throughout the German-speaking world. In 2025, she became the Bavarian Poetry Slam runner-up and reached the semifinals of the German-language Poetry Slam Championships.
For her, poetry is more than written and spoken words: it is a coping mechanism, a way of life, and a conscious choice to experience life mindfully. Poems are happening all the time, here and now, within us and all around us—we simply have to allow ourselves to notice them.
Elena Calliopa wurde 1999 in Neuburg an der Donau geboren. Nach dem Abitur zog sie nach München, um dort Psychologie (B.Sc.), Schulpsychologie und Englisch auf Gymnasiallehramt, sowie Klinische Psychologie und Psychotherapie (M.Sc.) an der Ludwig-Maximlians-Universität zu studieren. In dieser Zeit lebte sie zwischenzeitlich außerdem in London und Granada; aktuell lebt, arbeitet, studiert, schreibt, atmet sie in München. Elena schreibt Gedichte seit sie sich erinnern kann und steht seit 2021 damit regelmäßig auf Poetry Slam- und Lesebühnen im deutschsprachigen Raum. 2025 wurde sie bayerische Vizemeisterin im Poetry Slam und stand im Halbfinale der deutschsprachigen Meister*innenschaften im Poetry Slam. Lyrik ist für sie mehr als geschriebene und gesprochene Worte: Lyrik ist ein Bewältigungsmechanismus, ein Lebensentwurf, eine Entscheidung zum achtsamen (Er)Leben. Gedichte passieren ständig, im Hier und Jetzt, in uns und um uns herum: Wir müssen uns nur erlauben, sie wahrzunehmen.

Los Norteños de Bavaria is a music group made up of Mexican musicians based in Germany. The ensemble is dedicated to sharing the diversity of Mexican culture and building musical bridges between Música Regional Mexicana and European audiences.
With their versatile repertoire — ranging from the great classics of Música Norteña to modern hits — the band connects different generations and creates an atmosphere of celebration. Their music brings together genres such as Polka Norteña, Huapango, Corrido, Cumbia, and many more.
Los Norteños de Bavaria ist eine Musikgruppe aus mexikanischen Musikerinnen und Musikern mit Wohnsitz in Deutschland. Das Ensemble hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, die Vielfalt der mexikanischen Kultur zu verbreiten und musikalische Brücken zwischen der Musica Regional Mexicana und dem europäischen Publikum zu schlagen. Mit ihrem vielseitigen Repertoire – von den großen Klassikern der Música Norteña bis hin zu modernen Hits – verbindet die Band verschiedene Generationen und sorgt für beste Stimmung. Multicultural Flow ist ein dynamischer Kurzfilm über die Energie einer internationalen Kunstszene in München. Musik, Tanz, Urban Art, Performance und unterschiedliche Persönlichkeiten treffen aufeinander und werden zu einem gemeinsamen visuellen Flow.
Mit dabei sind unter anderem Melike Kerpel, Vanessa Hoffmann und Marion Wilken vom Frauenkollektiv Wallflowers, sowie Künstlerinnen und Künstler wie Rodrigo Castillo, Cui Xiuyan, Carlo Di Lorenzo, Tanja Bogush, Marwan, Mary Lova, Do B, Engule Troupe und
weitere internationale Artists aus München.
Der Film lebt von schnellen Wechseln, starken Bildern, unterschiedlichen Charakteren und einem modernen Editing-Rhythmus. Er will nicht alles erklären – er will Energie vermitteln.
Und genau deshalb ist er schnell vorbei: Man taucht ein, lässt sich treiben und möchte eigentlich noch ein bisschen weiterschauen.
Der Film endet mit dem Musikvideo zu „Multicultural Flow“, einem eigens für das Projekt produzierten Song, der verschiedene der beteiligten Künstler musikalisch zusammenbringt.
Multicultural Flow entstand im Rahmen von Verbindendes, einer von Luis Alvarez initiierten Plattform für internationale Künstlerinnen und Künstler in München.
Über Luis Alvarez
Luis Alvarez ist ein peruanischer Kommunikationswissenschaftler, audiovisueller Produzent, Regisseur und Musiker. Mit seiner Arbeit verbindet er audiovisuelle Produktion mit kultureller Vernetzung und entwickelt Formate, in denen unterschiedliche künstlerische Welten aufeinandertreffen.
Multicultural Flow wurde von ihm produziert und inszeniert.
